The Process
From your first idea to the piece you hold in your hands, here’s what to expect when ordering from The BrinnLu Collective LLC.
A little piece, made especially for you
All artwork is made to order and individually drawn by hand. I do not sell prints of my art. Even when recreating an existing design, natural differences in drawing and coloring make each finished piece one of a kind. Gallery photos show examples; your piece will be created for your order.
You’ll receive physical artwork on cardstock, created with Prismacolor colored pencils and Sharpie, either by itself or with a frame if selected. This is a mailed art piece, not a digital download.

ACEO means Art Cards, Editions and Originals. Its standard size is 2.5 × 3.5 inches—perfect for a miniature art collection.
Hand-cut character cutout · add $3
Available with any unframed size. The cardstock is neatly trimmed around the character’s outline (also called contour-cutting). Final cutout dimensions depend on the design and will be smaller than the selected cardstock size.
Customization & framing
Work directly with me by message to discuss your idea, wording, colors, size, and frame preference. We’ll finalize the details and total price before payment.
For framed orders, I’ll choose a frame that complements your artwork. Frame styles, colors, and materials vary with availability. Requests are welcome—just let me know before ordering! Any additional cost for a special request will be explained and agreed upon before payment. Unless we confirm a specific frame in writing, the final selection is made by the artist.
Payment, then pencils
Full payment is required before creation begins. Custom sketches, proofs, and artwork previews are not available before payment is complete.
As of October 2026, processing time is 2 business days from completed payment. Please finalize all customization details beforehand so work can begin promptly. Your expected ship date will be confirmed before payment.
I’ll keep you updated throughout the creation and shipping process. Processing time and shipping transit time are separate. If the agreed ship date cannot be met, you’ll be contacted about a revised date and your options under our shop policies.
Shipping for direct website orders
The buyer is responsible for shipping costs, which are separate from the artwork price. You’ll receive the shipping cost and proposed service for review and approval before payment. The agreed shipping charge will be included in your total.
USPS is our primary carrier. FedEx or UPS may be used when appropriate for your order. Available shipping discounts will be applied whenever possible.
Carrier delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed. For purchases through eBay or another marketplace, the shipping charges and terms shown on that platform apply.
