Custom orders & payment

Physical original artwork is made to order and drawn by hand for each customer; it is not a print. Listing photographs show examples unless expressly identified as the exact piece for sale. Small differences in line, color, composition, and screen appearance are normal features of handmade art and do not excuse failure to match the agreed description.

A website request is an inquiry, not an accepted order or payment. Jessica will confirm the written specifications, size, frame choice, total price, shipping charges, any applicable taxes, available payment method, and expected ship date before payment. Payment options are coming soon; the website currently takes no payment. Do not send card numbers, banking credentials, or payment passwords through a form or email.

Full payment must be verified through the agreed payment service before creation begins. An order is accepted only after the business confirms acceptance in writing. If we decline or cannot fulfill a paid order, we will refund the payment for the unfulfilled order. These policies must be provided and accepted before payment; a form acknowledgment alone does not authorize a charge.

Returns, refunds & cancellations

After an order is accepted and paid, change-of-mind cancellations are not accepted. Please contact us immediately if something is wrong; a request for an exception is not a promise of a refund. Nothing here allows us to retain payment when a refund is legally required.

If an item is defective, damaged in transit, incorrect because of our error, materially different from the agreed description, or not delivered, contact us at thebrinnlucollective@gmail.com. Include your order details and photographs of the item and packaging when available. Please notify us promptly, ideally within 7 days of delivery; this request does not shorten legal or platform claim deadlines. We will arrange an appropriate correction, replacement, return, or refund as required. Do not discard damaged packaging or mail an item back until return arrangements are confirmed. Where a return is needed because of our error or a defect, we will provide return instructions and cover reasonable agreed return shipping.

Any refund due will be issued promptly through the original payment method where possible, within applicable legal deadlines. Required refunds will not be replaced with store credit without your agreement.

Personalization & revisions

Please check names, spelling, wording, colors, reference photographs, delivery address, and framing details before approving your written order summary. Artwork creation and previews begin only after payment; a preview is not available before payment. Additional changes outside the agreed scope may involve a new quote and revised timeline, which must be approved before additional work or charges. Errors we make in following the agreed specifications will be addressed at our expense.

Only submit photographs and text you own or have permission to use for this purpose. Submitting a reference gives us limited permission to use it to fulfill your request; it does not transfer ownership of the photograph. We may decline requests that infringe others’ rights or that we cannot fulfill appropriately.

Production & shipping

The expected ship date will be confirmed before payment. Production time and carrier delivery time are separate. A carrier estimate is not a guaranteed arrival date unless expressly agreed in writing. If we cannot ship by the agreed deadline, we will notify you, provide a revised date, and offer the choice to consent to the delay or cancel the unshipped order for a prompt refund, as required by law. If no shipping time is stated, applicable federal shipping deadlines still apply.

Please provide a complete delivery address. Address changes must be confirmed before shipment. If you supplied an incorrect address, any additional reshipping cost will be explained and agreed before reshipping; our own addressing errors are our responsibility. Contact us about missing or damaged deliveries so we can investigate and help with a carrier claim. We do not automatically treat a carrier scan as a waiver of your rights.

Copyright & unauthorized use

Original artwork displayed or sold through The BrinnLu Collective LLC is protected by applicable copyright law. Copyright remains with the artist or lawful rights holder unless expressly transferred in a signed written agreement.

Except as permitted by law, you may not copy, trace, reproduce, distribute, sell reproductions of, or create merchandise from protected artwork without prior written permission. Purchasing a physical piece does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.

Unauthorized uses may be reported to the hosting platform and addressed through available legal remedies. Nothing in this notice restricts fair use, lawful resale of an original physical piece, or other rights provided by law.

Portfolio permission

We may request separate permission to photograph and showcase your completed personalized artwork on our website or social pages. Portfolio permission is optional and is not required to purchase. Reference photographs, customer contact details, shipping addresses, and private messages are not included in that permission. Identifying personal content or images of people require appropriate additional permission. Let us know before creation if the work is a surprise gift or private memorial.

Privacy notice

We collect the name, email address, messages, pet details, personalization choices, and reference photos you provide through this website. Shipping and payment information may be requested separately when arranging an accepted order. We use this information to respond, create and deliver artwork, keep necessary business records, and address disputes.

Order requests and reference photos are stored in the website’s Cloudflare-backed storage for authorized business review. Contact-form messages are saved there and are also forwarded through FormSubmit to our business Gmail inbox. New-request notifications containing a request reference and dashboard link are sent through FormSubmit to our business Gmail inbox; customer photos are not included in those alerts. These hosting, form-delivery, and email providers process information under their own terms. Shipping and payment providers will receive information needed for those services once selected. Our hosting and authentication providers may process technical connection or sign-in information to operate and secure the site.

We do not sell form submissions or use them for advertising lists. Records are retained as reasonably needed to fulfill requests, maintain required business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information by emailing us; some records may need to be retained for legal or accounting reasons. No online transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please do not submit sensitive financial, government-ID, medical, or children’s personal information.

Following a shop, payment, or social-media link takes you to another service with its own privacy practices and terms. We do not control those services. This site is intended for adult customers; a parent or guardian should handle purchases and submissions for a child.

Other terms & contact

These policies apply to direct orders from The BrinnLu Collective LLC, based in Michigan, United States. Mandatory consumer laws in your location and applicable marketplace and payment-provider protections continue to apply. Michigan law governs only to the extent permitted by applicable law; no provision removes mandatory consumer rights, lawful payment disputes, or access to available legal remedies.

Decorative artwork and frames are not toys. Keep glass, hanging hardware, and small parts away from young children and mount framed pieces securely. Ordinary color variation does not excuse a defect or an inaccurate description.

The version provided when an order is accepted applies to that order. Later policy changes do not retroactively change an accepted order. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
